Hi All, Just a quick update on my baby. Just got her blood tests back and her PVC is stready again at 41. We will be reducing her medication again which is great. Every time the meds have been reduced over the last 6 weeks her PVC has increased so she is doing a lot of this on her own now. The vet thinks that 41 will be normal for Madison and she said that she is happy with that. Madison just needs to loose 1kg now and get to her normal weight of 6.5 kilos. I just hope that all the dogs out there can improve as much as Madison has. We all didnt think she would make it at the beginning and she proved us all wrong which makes me so happy. She is my little hero!!! Thinking of you all Samantha & Madison

Samantha, Great news for you and Madison! We are also in the med reduction phase, after 8 months. It's scary, we've gone really slow. Tiggs just finished his last Pred the other day. I cried when I gave it to him- mainly because I was so grateful he's done well, proud of him for all the fight he's given, and also just out of plain terror. We still have the security blanket of a little Azathiaprine every other day. We're also fighting the "battle of the bulge" too! Hoping Madison has a healthy, happy, long future :) melissa and tiggs

Thank you for the update, this is so encouraging! Not just for you and Madison, but for all of us that are still at the beginning of this battle. It can be won! Best wishes, Brigitte and Kahlu

Thank you for all your lovely words - this journey has been horrible but there is hope and i know just reading other peoples success stories over the last few months got me through this. I just hope me writing about Madison's success will help people just starting out on this scary journey. Madison only got this disease 2 months ago but has had excellent progress - still a long way to go but i am looking forward to having her with me for a long time now. Love to you all Samantha
