Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Madison monthly update
| Hi all, Just a quick Madison update... Well its 3 months now since she was diagnosed. She has had her meds reduced 3 times and down to monthly check ups. Her blood count was done on the weekend and it still steady at 42 - been like this for 7 weeks now. We are reducing her meds again by 25%.. She is doing great and even lost a tiny bit of weight. She was groomed at the vet also and looks so pretty. I will get some pics up of my pretty little girl soon. Wishing all the doggies on here the same improvemnt as Madison. Samantha |

| Dear Samantha, That's fantastic news! She's a cutie - and so is Cody. I think that Madison was diagnosed same time as my little Millie, so I've followed your updates to see how Madison is progressing. Millie's progress has been slower than Madison, but we've now done 2 med reductions (25% each time), and finally Millie's last test showed PCV 42! (Up from high 30's). I'm a nervous wreck each time we reduce, but Millie is thriving (so far, so good) each time the Pred goes down. Good luck for continued good health for your gorgeous girl! Samantha & Millie. |

| Hi Samantha, Sounds like Millie is doing great too. Madison is so much better with the reduction in medication also, its scary but i know that its better for her health in the long run.. And she is back to her cheeky self which makes me smile.. I hope your Millie continues to improve. Sam |
