| aol seems to be back on track again so I am reposting rather than having Linda post for me. Choe's news Keiko and Holly pics too cute. Once you become a doxie aficionado well, they do win your heart even though they are stubborn as all get-out and they want to burrow in any hole in the ground. They win out on their cuteness. Great news...Choe's pcv was 44!! It's been a 14 month battle of ups and downs. He is now on 3mg pred. Consulting vet recommended pcv check in another 2 weeks and CBC in one month. He has a tendency to decline when the pred dosage is too low. We have been through this high reading (44) before and then when we weaned to 2mg pred he went out of remission and we had to increase the dosage again. Prefer not to have to introduce Imuran if I don't have to. He was on atopica for many months but it was found not to be absorbing in the dosage he could tolerate. Just grateful for the upslide. For all of your pets who are still in the 20's and 30's please know Choe was wavering in those numbers for 8 months before he improved. best, Jan |
