Hello Everyone! At almost 2 years post IMHA diagnosis (June 07) Keiko is hanging in there and doing really well. She still has low WBC but has steadfastly remained energetic and reasonably healthy. We are very pleased and happy. The only med she remains on is Azathorprine @ 0.3ml, 3 x a week. Keiko is now 6 years old. We have decided to give Keiko a little sister! She was born May 2 and will be joining our family around Fathers Day. Her name will be Karma, as I really do believe that life and karma go hand in hand, even though it does seem like it, at times. I hope she will create a wonderful bond with Keiko and life will be good :) Keep up the fight and the faith, all of you. I check in on a regular basis and keep you all in my prayers. Jess, Keiko and soon Karma

I meant to say even though it DOESN'T seem like it, at times, with my reference to karma, sorry!

Great news Jess, happy to hear Keiko is doing so well, and about your new addition. Is she a rescue? I forgot now what kind of dog Keiko is. Our best, melissa and tiggs

Jess, so glad to hear that Keiko is doing well. I believe you and I came on line here at about the same time. It's great that we both still have our wonderful doggies. deb and Duck

Hi Jess, wonderful to hear Keiko is doing good. Two years is a great feat...she must have a great mommy. Good to hear you decided to get her a sister. Hopefully she'll have tons of fun with her new sis. Hugs from Johnny & Tessy
