Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Josh, need your help

Josh,

I went to see Dr. Dodds today. She is wonderful. She suggested I give Boogie anabolic steroids--same one you give Sway. She said to email you and find out where you got it. If you want, you can email me privately.

Thanks.

Sue,

Just another piece of info. Barkley also started anabolic steroids and I was able to get them from Franck's Pharmacy in Ocala, Florida. They have a website and if you go to the veterinary compounding part of the information there will be a toll free number you can call and ask to speak to Kelly. Barkley was put on Winstrol, which is different than what Sway has been taking, but they may be able to make those meds as well. They weren't terribly expensive and they shipped them immediately. Good folks.

Hope this helps.
Cheryl (and always Barkley)

Thanks, Cheryl.

There is a compounding pharmacy near my office (Encino, CA) who will also compound Winstrol for me. But Dr. Dodds wants Boogie to take Durabolin which is the same thing Josh administers to Sway. Dr. Dodds said they will use Winstrol if they absolutely can't find Durabolin, but she prefers Durabolin. I have found places where I can get this online, but am worried about authenticity. Dr. Dodds said it should be fine. I think I'll order some.

By the way, anyone who can possibly get a chance to meet with Dr. Dodds, do so. She is an amazing lady. I was so impressed with her and I have more hope than ever for my little girl.

Also, I was so sorry to hear about Barkley. I was out of town for about ten days, and in that time span, we lost Barkley, Sunny, Harry and Nancy. I was sobbing for a long time and am tearing up again just thinking about it. I could just scream!!! I HATE this disease so much.
