Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Joeys PCV Update

Joeys PCV is now 41 which is good news as it's the first time it's not dropped since he's stopped all meds.My vet doesn't think allergy testing is a good idea as treatment isn't usually successful and in her words "you can't keep him in a bubble".Thyroid tests were done when he first presented with AIHA and were ok.His coat appears to be a bit shinier but it's still falling out in clumps.Thank all who took the time to respond to my threads,Corrie.

Congratulations Corrie and Joey!!! I think you have a very sensible vet advising you. have you tried omega 3s to help with the coat? Be patient, you have come so far!

Best wishes,
