| When we got Joey he was being fed freeflow tripe but my vet said it wasn't good enough nutrient wise.We put him onto Hills science plan chicken & rice and he was ok on the puppy one but developed diarrhoea on & off with the adult variety.Gradually he was changed to the sensitive diet (duck) then blue whiting and tapioca which is only available from my vet.I've always thought his digestion problems were bought on by this diet and since his surgery have changed it to James Wellbeloved fish and rice (over the past 10days).He now seems to have stopped sneezing as soon as he gets his head down to eat.His coat is more shiny and his fur isn't falling out so much.Joey is quite fat inspite of being well exercised and is also very lively but until his pcv dropped to 25 he was the same way.I've noticed that his bottom "lip" is changing colour again - when he had a low pcv about 1/4" of it turned pink.On prednisolone it went back to being black and now his pcv is dropping again it's gradually turning pink again.Has anyone else noticed anything similiar? |
