Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Joanne still needing help

Joanne,

Just wondering if there isn't anything you can do. Jan and I are still having problems posting through AOL. It is very frustrating, but neither of us can contact them because we are hooked up through a local phone company and on AOL free service. This afternoon I was able to post once and now tonight have to go onto Internet Explorer, because again cannot post in AOL.

If there is anything you could do to help us with AOL we would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Linda

Linda,

If you can post using Internet explorer and not aol then it is an aol problem. Perhaps when you went to the free servive some of your services became limited such as you are only able to post on bulletin boards during less busy times.

You are not being blocked by vetnet so there is no way I can help, sorry.

Joanne,

I realize this is a problem with AOl, however I went to the free service about 2 months ago, and this just started happening last week. It is what it is, just thought that maybe there would be something that you could do in contacting AOl.

I have really enjoyed being a part of this board, but it is really to much of a pain for me to constantly switch over to Internet Explorer just to reply. So I will just read and if really feel a need to reply I will switch over and post in Explorer.

Thanks,
Linda

Linda,

AOL will not fix a problem that is not theirs. They probably wouldn't fix a problem if it WAS theirs. I personally cannot stand AOL for anything. If you do not like Explorer you could always download FireFox for free and set up a free yahoo email account. It should work fine, once you get used to it. Just a friendly suggestion:)

Allison,

Thanks for the suggestion, but it is just that I am always on AOL, I have several screen names for business and personal, and just a pain to switch over. But I agree, I doubt they would do anything. I am so familiar with AOL I have used it for over 20 years now.
