| Quick update, So far so good......Jasper is currently at 1 month medication free. He is looking slim and his coat is shining. His energy levels are good but he also knows when he has had enough exercise and needs to rest....... and has just had his 12th birthday! So we do put some of this down to advancing years!!!! He is still on 3 meals a day as its a habit thats hard to break now. I still check in daily to catch up with what is happening. To those of you who are new to this try to keep the faith, it can be hard with lots of ups and downs but there are dogs making it. Jasper is living proof. He was diagnosed September 1st last year. To those still fighting, keep up the good work and take every day as it comes, we still do with his gum checks and looking at his eyes etc. He still has lazy days when we worry ourselves silly, but that is the way it is now and will probably stay with us forever. Wishing you all good health and good luck, Jackie and Jasper |

| Jackie great news to hear Jasper is still holding well on no meds :+) I'm really happy for you both. Trixie is now on 1 pred per day and that's all 1/2 am 1/2 pm, she certainly is taking more interest in things. I've been taking her down to the beach each afternoon, she seems to enjoy herself there more than in the field for a walk. She has been on this doseage about 2 weeks now and hopefully we will see signs of a little weight loss! I must say all this has aged her, poor baby, but hopefully when she gets back to her normal self she will look and feel different :+) Tricia |
