| Although it has been some time since I have posted, I want you all to know that I visit here very often. I still share in the joys and sadness of these special and loved critters. My Chihuahu,Ren, was first diagnosed with AIHA in 2007. She recovered only to have a terrible relapse a year later. Over the past year+ we had had many ups and downs. But Ren has been stable now for about six months. Having a consistant high PCV and normal blood values in all areas. She still eats only the highest quality meats, fish and veges. She is never exposed to vaccines or any chemicals. She takes small doses of Pred daily and Cyclosporine (low dose) every other day. We still give her samE, while I think made a world of difference in her liver health. She is one tough little pet! And I am thrilled to say that this October she will turn 14 years old! We are blessed. Sue & Ren |

| Sue & Ren Glad to read Ren is doing so well, and almost 14 that is soooo amazing:) Ren is a lot like Ginger as she was diagnosed in 2007 and has several relapses and has never gone 6 months with a normal PCV. She also is on pred and Cyclosporine, we are not yet to the point of EOD. So give Ren a BIG hug from us and tell her how proud we of her. Would love to see a photo of Ren sometime. Thanks for the update. Cheryl & Ginger |
