| Hi Everyone, I thought I would share this because I cannot believe someone else I know is affected by these deadly immune disorders. A close colleague at work has a Maltese Shihtzu X Pug, and she was diagnosed with IMT today. This little dog is a darling, and she's being cared for at the same Teaching Hospital that Millie was at. She has internal bleeding, and her PCV was at 12, so she is receiving a transfusion. The vets are condifent it's not Evans Syndrome, and the low PCV is due to the internal bleeding and not immune destruction. I guess that's something to be thankful for. I am grateful that I am able to share my knowledge and help my colleague through this difficult time. At the same time, it's bought back so many memories of that difficult time with Millie, I got quite emotional when I found out. Needless to say, I got home from work today and gave Millie a huge hug and lots of extra fuss. Merry Christmas, Sam & Millie. |

| Samantha, How fortunate (if that can be considered as fortunate) that you have the knowledge to help your friend. It is also good that you can share Millie's story and give her hope. Merry Christmas to you too! Penny |
