| I read the poem that Tricia posted on Janice and Clifford's thread, "May I go now?". It really made me think about what Sunny might say if he could talk to me. I think he would say, "Please Mom... no more needles, no more vets, no more pills, and no more of that yucky slurry. I want to go to the bridge and play with Clifford and the other dogs. Please, Mom, can I go?" |

| Leslie, I think most of us that have had to let our dogs go will tell you that even without words they do let you know when it is time. It is something that you will recognize if it comes to that. Penny |
