| We are having our first big snowstorm in Philly, and I tried to take Kola out but within a couple blocks he cried from the snow ?and salt? between his paws. So much for the x-country ski plans... I was wondering if the treated road surfaces can be dangerous in terms of triggering relapse. Also, any home made suggestions for protecting dogs' paws? I've tried store bought booties in the past with other dogs and they never seem to stay on. |

| Leslie, I just heard on the radio yesterday to rub vaseline on their pads before you take them out for a walk. I haven't tried it yet so I don't know if it works but I plan to give it a try. We're covered in snow here too! Chris & Alex |
