Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - How much chicken and rice?
| My vet has recommended a bland diet of chicken and rice for Sunny. What is the ratio of chicken to rice? I have read that too much protein could be a problem. Thanks for all of your support. Sunny is home now. |

| Hi Leslie, Glad to read that Sunny is home with you. When we've fed a bland diet after vomiting, etc., it's been a ratio of 2/3 - 3/4 rice and 1/3 - 1/4 chicken. As you probably already know - small amounts are best - every few hours - until you see that Sunny is keeping it down. I hope you both have a good night. Bonnie |
