| Scamper, who earned his name because he IS a "scamp" (just like Shadow earned her nem because, when I first brought her home, was my shadow) has his head firmly planted in my lap and is crying/whining. Since Oct. 19, when she was diagnosed with aiha, I've paid almost no attention to - and certainly haven't taken 'da boys (my other dogs) on a walk: how could we go on a walk, when Shad - pre-AIHA - used to love walks in the BLM "dog park" and chasing (never catching) prairie dogs and bunnys so much? The "dog park" is covered in 12 inches (and growing) of snow; we're under a severe winter storm warning. 'Da boys, shadow and I are warm in our small home - and are grateful for this forum, Drs. Lupo and Beckstead for shadow's recovery, and for shad's apparent recovery. She always had regenerative aiha; for those of you whose dogs have non-regenerative aiha, we're praying. And, giving thanks for 'da boys, who don't have the "deer in the headlights" look and who don't hear every kitchen cabinet in Vernal, Utah, opening (Such a great analogy: I apologize for not remembering from whom it was sent.) Speedy recoveries and holiday wishes to you all! I (almost) want to apologize for Shad getting better so quickly, when so many others of us and our fur kids are still struggling.) Sandy & Shadow |

| Sandy Never apologize for good news. I don't think anyone on this board would not share in your happiness that Shadow is doing better. Hope your holidays are everything you wish for. Penny |
