If you still need a holiday gift for someone you might want to visit the New Hope Page at the Meisha's Hope Web site: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/newhope.htm and check out the New Hope Partners. These wonderful people donate a portion of the sales from their products to the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation: http://www.morrisanimalfoundation.org/special-campaigns/meishas-hope/ All money donated to this fund goes to sponsor studies on canine AIHA/IMHA. Not one cent of any donation is used for fund raising or administration. You might also want to consider getting a Meisha's Hope Bandanna for your dog or a friend's dog. Details on how to do so can be found here: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/bandanna.htm Meisha's Hope Bandanna's are sent out within 24 hours after I receive a donation for them, unless I receive the donation on Saturday. Then the Bandannas go out on Monday. To see dogs modeling their Meisha's Hope Bandanna's click on this URL: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/bandannaphotos.htm

I just ordered another bracelet from Foot & Paw. Peggy showed me hers a year ago and the people that I have given them to just really love them. The donation to MAF also is nice.

Steve, Hopefully you will keep this one out of the pool. :) I don't think I could have gotten through my loss without mine. Are you going to be racing this upcoming year? I can never thank you enough for all that you did for raising awareness of this awful disease and the huge amounts of money you raised for Meisha's Hope. I also really enjoyed watching you race even when it ceased to be a "doggy car" Best to you and yours this Holiday Season Penny

Sorry Penny, just noticed that I typed Peggy. I was able to polish it back and now I remove it when I'm going to the pool. Please don't thank me for what I have done, I have not done enough. When we find a good treatment and a cure maybe then. Last season was very difficult and I was unable to do much for the foundation. Two big crashes and a fire really set the team back. Needless to say the bad economy had a direct impact on us as well. I still have a bunch of "Race for Hope" shirts that I need to sell, maybe we can find a way before the holidays to make an end of year donation surge. Well for 2010 it looks like we will be returning to racing BMWs and I'm looking forward to that. The MAF #338 will continue to be on the hauler and cars. This year 8 of the 10 races will be televised so look out for us, the dogs will be howling. Not a day goes by that I don't look at my bracelet and think about Tasha, I still miss her very much. It was tough last year not having her around Christmas morning to open her giant chew bone, hope it is easier this year. Happy Holidays everyone!
