| All, About a month ago, one of our fellow forum members posted the following about her new business selling dog treats (see below). The treats are named after her Yellow Lab, Bronwyn who died of IMHA in December of last year. 10% of all of her proceeds are being donated to help fund IMHA research. I’m writing today to say that these bisquits are FANTASTIC. My dogs absolutely love them and they don’t have any scary artificial ingredients. I can highly recommend a purchase of these treats both as a way to spoil your pups and a way to support research of this horrible disease. What a great way to support those suffering from this disease and those whom we have lost (I lost my Shih-Tzu, Allie on 1/1/2008). There isn’t a website for these bisquits yet, but you can email Elizabeth to place an order. Here is her previous posting: Hi, everyone. Some of you may remember me from early in the year, when I found this forum after we lost our 19-month-old Yellow Lab Bronwyn to IMHA. Brownyn's death devasted us; like so many, we'd never heard of IMHA until she was diagnosed with it 3 days after Christmas. We lost her in the space of 36 hours. I've been an occassional lurker and sometime poster here on this board since then, and I wanted to let everyone here know that I've started a small dog treat business in her honor. I wanted to do something to help bring awareness to IMHA after Bronnie died, but couldn't afford to just make a donation. It bears her name (Bronwyn's Biscuits), and I'm donating 10% of my proceeds to the Morris Animal Foundation to fund IMHA research. The plan is to increase that donation amount down the road (hopefully to 20-25%), but I'm also trying to make my son's tuition right now. Being completely computer inept, I don't yet have a website. I've no idea how to build one, but my sister-in-law is working on it, so hopefully that's not too far off. I've got 4 flavors available right now: Peanut Butter, Chicken-Honey, Apple-Cinnamon, and Cheddar-Dill. They're all made on a whole wheat base with all human-grade ingredients - I've been known to eat the dough while baking, and my 18-month old likes the apple ones. Feel free to send me an email if you're at all interested, and I can give you more info. They'd all be baked to order, so they'd be nice and fresh when they got to you. There are no preservatives, but since I dry them out in the oven after baking, they'll keep for 6 weeks or more in an airtight container. Just wanted to let everyone know - trying to do my little part to help in the fight against IMHA. Elizabeth: enedelfosse@comcast.net |

| I just ordered my second batch. My 3 dogs gave them four paws up. Elizabeth also ships them out very quickly so they are nice and fresh. Cheryl & Ginger |
