I keep checking the board and have not seen a post since May this year. Patrice, do you have Josh's email? Have you heard anything? I am so concerned since there have been no new posts. Dolores

Dolores, Yes I do keep in touch with Josh. We don't email back and forth frequently but we do keep in touch. I'll explain this as it pertains to the way I feel so maybe you will understand some of how he may feel. I have always felt uncomfortable sharing bad news about Chance (or myself for that matter) on this list. Why? Well, I think I am pretty lucky with how things have gone for Chance and me. When I read posts here, and there are heartfelt stories from dog owners who have lost their dogs in just a few days without warning, I am heartbroken. I may have gone through some tough times with Chance, but he's still alive. But, as much as I hate to write "Oh Chance is doing so well!", I love reading other posts with the same success! Sway is still part of her family, loved by Josh and all his friends. Josh adores her and dotes on taking care of her. She has a condition that is difficult to treat and requires Josh to be constantly focused on her care. So when there is no spectacular good news to report, what do you say? Well, I occasionally share some good news here by dropping in a line or two when I am trying to encourage someone else. I was just delighted that Chance finally reached, after 2 years, a PCV of 43%. Now we all say, "Don't focus on the numbers," but here I am, focusing on his number. Josh may not be able to share news like that with us at this time. Please always say a prayer for Josh and Sway each night and know how much he loves his sweet girl. patrice

Thank you Patrice, I do pray for each and every one that has been going through this awful this disease with their loved fur child. i did lose one of our fur kids to this disease back in 1998, so i do know how hard it is. I always looked for positive posts so I know that everyone that had their kid make positive progress it is greatly appreciated and you should never feel bad about posting good news. everyone needs it. I had Josh's email when he first got on the forum but had lost it. I was just looking for a tiny bit of improvement on Sway. i am so glad that Josh still has his love with him. Thanks again for posting to me. Love and Peace, Dolores
