Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Gus the Goldendoodle passes away

Gus was diagnoised with AIHA on Saturday night and was gone by Monday. Very aggressive disease. He was onlt 2 and a half and was the best dog of all time.

I totally feel your pain, loss, shock, and despair. My wonderful Golden, Jack, went in to the vet's on a Wed morning and passed away Sunday. I've never even heard of this horrific disease before. I like to think Gus and Jack are playing happily together at Rainbow Bridge, along with others who have been taken too quickly and early by this syndrome. Mary
