Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Gunner

On May 1st I painfully had to say good bye to my best friend. I needed to deal with this privately and haven't been able to talk much about it, but wanted to thank everyone for always expressing their love and concern for my buddy! We couldn't have gotten to where we did with him if I didn't find all of you. I can't thank all of you enough for your advice and help with him these past few months. Dear Jacki, I am so sorry Gunner did not recover. You did everything possible for your special friend and still he had to leave you. Sometimes it is so hard to understand and to accept. This week is the sixth anniversary of my dear beagle Wiley's unsuccessful fight against IMHA, so I am feeling that sadness again, and I remember how devastating it was.
