| Just got the call from the vet, Kahlu has gained a couple of points again, RBC 4.7 HCT 36, so I am happy! He has been holding in those 34-36 numbers for 3 weeks now and I was hoping we could start to reduce the pred. The vet wants to wait an other week, since he seems to tolerate it. So I guess there is a little disappointment. But like it has been said before, this disease is not a matter of days or even weeks, but of months and even years. He has only been on the Thyroid med and supplements (recommended by Dr. Dodds) for a week, so the vet thought of giving them a bit more time to kick in. So we will keep at it! Take care everybody, Brigitte and Kahlu |
