Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Good News!

Brought Finn back for his blood work today and everything has come back normal, HCT is up to 37, WBC is down to 11, he has put on 4lbs in one week.
Vet thinks it was a virus, and its not IMHA, but will continue to monitor him. We have postponed his vacinations for now also. We go back in two weeks providing everything stays good.
Thanks for all the replies, having done some reading on IMHA, my heart goes out to you guys, what a horrible disease.

Hi Maureen

I am so relieved to hear Finn is ok. It is not nice for any dog to have this disease, but even sadder when it's a puppy.
Best wishes for a long and happy life for Finn!
