| Hi everyone, Since we lost Georgie in July, I have watched the list almost daily and posted occasionally. I have had a response from the compnay who supplied Georgie's vaccination. They have agreed to pay half the costs of Georgie's treatment. I have to sign a form to accept it as a gesture of goodwill and not as an admittance of liability. It will help us a great deal financially and goes some way to the drug companies acknowledging their role. I understand that in the climate of sueing everyone they have to be careful so I am grateful for this help. I hope this is useful to any of you stll fighting this expensive and dreadful disease. | Steph, While no amount of money would ever ease the pain of what you and your family went through with your loss of Georgie, I am glad you have at least reached a compromise with the drug company even if it could be considered "hush money". We all know how finacially draining it is to fight this awful disease. Penny |
