Just a quick note to mention about the garage sale that was held in MN on Thursday and Friday May 7 & 8 to benenfit the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation: http://www.morrisanimalfoundation.org/special-campaigns/meishas-hope/ The weather was perfect and we had a huge turnout of shoppers to the sale.Over $3,000 was added to the Meisha's Hope Fund at MAF as a result of this sale. We had hoped to get a lot of photos but we were so busy serving customers the number of photos we were able to take was very limited since we only were able to take photos when things slowed down a bit, which was not often. The following URL http://www.geocities.com/meishamargo/gs09.html will take you to a page with a few photos from the sale. A big thank you to all who made donations to this sale.

PS. Forgot to mention, the Faces of Canine AIHA/IMHA Board http://www.geocities.com/meishamargo/faceboard.html was a HUGE hit. People spent so much time looking at it. We were able to inform countless people about AIHA/IMHA and MAF brochures on the AIHA/IMHA Fund and disease were handed out.

Wow not in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine a garage sale making so much money. That was such great news and I am so happy for the Meisha's Hope fund. I love the photo of Maddie and Chris taking a well deserved break. And I guess it was a good thing you were so busy you did not have time take more. A BIG thank-you from all the dogs that will one day benefit from your fund raising efforts. You and your garage sale helpers are awesome and I am proud to have had the opportunity to help in a small way. Cheryl & Ginger

WOW!! You are awesome! That is an amazing amount raised, thank you so much for all you do Joanne. I havn't had time to check this board much lately, but I am always thinking of everyone here. It is wonderful to have such a supportive group of people for those unfortounate enough to have a sick doggie. And what a difference Meisha's Hope is making. Thanks!

Wow! $3000! That's amazing, Joanne. Sounds like all your hard work really paid off. I'm so happy it went so well. I love getting to see the few pictures you were able to take - it's nice to be able to put faces to names. And have I mentioned Miss Maddie is adorable? Thanks so much for everything you do - you are tireless! Elizabeth :-)

Joanne, I am sure that somewhere in the dictionary definition "HERO/HEROINE" your name, your husband's name and Meisha's name must be listed! Every penny, nickel, dime and quarter received somewhere has someone's special canine best friend, fighting to survive, attached to it...and the Rainbow Bridge team cheering them, their owners and you on in the battle. Thank you so much to you, Joanne, and all those who in some way contributed to make that $3000 a reality for them...and for the dedicated professionals who also continue to strive to find a cause and a cure. You are all an inspiration. With gratitude, Cheryl (and always Barkley)

Many congrats and thanks from Tessy & I. The work you do means so much to the cause. One day they will find better ways to combat this horrible disease and you will be front center in helping fund the research needed to achieve this goal. The time and effort you put into this goes to show how one can make a difference in the lives of others. Keep up the GREAT work. You deserve a standing ovation and cheers. Johnny & Tessy
