Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - FYI about mulch poisonings

Hi all,
I have been away for awhile. It is always sad to see the losses posted to this site and my heart goes out to everyone whose beloved fur baby has died. For those still fighting the battle, I pray that you win against this horrible disease.
Lindy had her teeth cleaned and came through with flying colors. Then we headed to Iowa for a visit with my mother and a family reunion. I opted not to give her any flea/tick meds or put her on heartworm. We just limited her time outside, which apparently was successful.
I just received this email about a potential deadly product on the market, so please be aware that this mulch can kill our precious pets.

Nancy,
I am so gun shy about any chemicals etc. My yard looks like a military bomb test site instead of the beautiful English garden I used to envision, but my dogs are healthy and happy (knock on wood). I am glad Lindy is doing well It must have been kind of scary taking her to Iowa or were you lucky enough to have missed all the flooding?
