| Corrie, My Standard Poodle had a creaky hip joint for a few weeks. Once weaned of the prednisone it went away. We think it was because of the muscle loss from the medication. Sorry I don't recall how old Joey is. About the vaccinations, would the insurance consider accepting a titer? What vaccinations do they want? I would highly recommend not to vaccinate, even though Joey is considered in remission. If you do a titer, at least you know if the risk is necessary. If Joey had puppy shots and maybe one booster he is most likely immune and a further booster could set of his immune system again. Best wishes, Brigitte & the poodle boys |
