Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - following Alison's thought;vet woes

here is a post I get from a vet in Canada who sends weekly threads and 'sells' his homeopathic advise/products. I haven't purchased anything from him but I will say his 'intro' messages are very informative and telling... we are not a bunch of morons. questioning the effacacy of vaccinations, flea control and heartworm products. There are a few vets questioning as well. They are just not in the majority.

Hello jan,

Re: WHY our Your Veterinary Bills are so high?

//////////////////////////////////////////////

Good morning fellow readers of Veterinary Secrets.

I just finished watching a VERY interesting
documentary on the RISING costs of Veterinary Care.

The show visited a large Veterinary Conference..and
REVEALED some very disturbing facts..

1. Corporate Sponsors/Schmooze Fest..The Big Pharmaceutical
companies were BIG sponsors, and then they sponsored a cozy
schmoozefest in which the Attendees get a sponsored party and
learn about the New /Wonder Drug/Prescription Food

2. There are NO regulations on Veterinary Markups for
Dispensed Medication. Most are marked up AT least 100%, and
these CONVENTIONAL Drugs are a LARGE source of Revenue.

3. A clip from one of the Speakers talking about the
Millions that are spent on Pet Care, and the point of
his talk was to have the Veterinarian loosen the Pet
Owner's wallets and GET some of that MO**NEY!

The link to the the video page is here:

The BEST way to avoid Rising Veterinary Care Costs
is to have a HEALTHY Dog or Cat that Avoids the Vet,
and by becoming an empowered pet owner, that can
take matters into your own hands- such as utilizing
Alternative Cures for common Pet Problems.

While I'm not going to pile on right now, it's painfully clear, to me, that big business is looking for profits in most respects without looking at reasonable costs for patients/consumers.

I checked out his site, looks like you have to pay to access complete info. The little story of the loss of his own dog was interesting. I guess he has to make a living some way (since he's not doing it off annual vaccs).

I'd like to buy his monthly subscription, providing anyone can tell me if they found success with his product? And also, what meat products has anyone tried and found success with this disease and their pets? Thanks in advance!
