I do remember reading here about flea prevention and I'm also aware about the complications of Front Line! A couple days ago I noticed a flea on Tilly, no doubt Bella has then too! I need to treat this but of course I won't be using FL! Could anyone please recommend something else I can use that will not cause problems. Many thanks Tricia P.S. Thought I'd post a link with a few photos of Bella and Tilly. Bella, we think is around 2 years and Tilly around 12 months http://triciaa.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album05

Hi Tricia. I wish I could tell you that I found the magical stuff.... I bought some Organic Herbal Defense Shampoo and spray from OnlyNaturalPet.com. It's okay, but I'm still seeing fleas on my girl. We have trimmed her belly really good so we can see them better. She's an American Eskimo with very long hair so I have a hand full! I bought a flea comb and that's been helping. I brush, brush and BRUSH her all the time. We had the yard sprayed too. I have done just about all I know to do. Before I bought the shampoo mentioned above, we "dipped" her in warm water with Baby Shampoo. We rubbed and rubbed her and fleas eventually started drowning and coming off. This will be an on going thing. I feel and look like a monkey going through her hair!! We also bought some Nylar Carpet Spray made by Demize and spray our carpet, furniture and pet beddings. We got that on line somewhere. I just goggled it after our pest spray man told us about it!! Good luck and if you find something....anything that works, share it!!! BTW - CUTE pictures!!!! -Liz an Mia

Google 'homeopathic treatments for flea control' and take a read of some of the recommendations. You are VERY WISE not to use Frontline and please tell everyone you know in the UK.....it is POISON and the worst is that it is LEGAL POISON as the pharmaceutical company who manufactures it is not being stopped. When your pet almost dies from an application as mine did, four transfusions and $9,000 later, one becomes seethingly angry. The only recourse you have is to spread the word. Let others know the best protest is a refusal to purchase. Best, Jan
