Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Feb. 2008 Success Story is now up at the Meisha's Hope Web site. The month's story is about a little cutie named Haley. The following URL will take you directly to Haley's story: http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/successstories.htm May Haley's story give you all HOPE and encouragement and remind you that not only can dogs survive AIHA/IMHA, they can go on to live the happy, healthy lives they did prior to their AIHA/IMHA diagnosis. Hugs to all the canine kids from me and my little canine-red headed gal, Maddie.

Joanne, Thank you for your input, Maddison & I appreciate it. I'm glad your Maddie is healthy and that Meisha is doing well fighting this. I just wanted to say that I think it is wonderful that you have made the Meishas hope website, I looked at it briefly but am planning on sitting down and really reading the information. It is so helpful to have a place to go and vent and read the success stories which do give us hope. Good luck to you Maddie & Meisha.

Kathy, Thank you for your kind words. Maddie is doing well but Meisha is no longer with me. She died on November 23, 2001 after having lived with AIHA for 9 years and 10 months. At the time of her death she was just a few days short of her 13th birthday. While I still miss my dear gal so much, I am so thankful for all the wonderful years I had with her after her AIHA diagnosis. We had many ups and downs along the way but I would do it again in a minute if given the chance. Dealing with Meisha's AIHA and later death taught me so many lessons I could have never have learned anywhere else.
