| Ern was taken off all meds 2 weeks ago and went for a blood test today. Everything came back completely normal, and from the way he's bouncing around you'd never know he'd been so sick. When he was diagnosed on 1st October I wasn't convinced he'd be here to share the new year. I'll still be watching him closely for any signs of relapse and he'll have tests to make sure he stays ok, but it looks like we've won the battle for now. This board has become a daily part of my life over the last few months so I'll still be sticking around to see how everyone else is getting on. I've never had any doubt about how much we love our dogs, but fighting a battle like this truly makes me realise just how far I'd go for them. Sue |
