Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - effects of prednisone

I have posted 2 threads on this forum, go to ZEKE for updates.
What I would like to know is what are the side effects of Prednisone? I understand that it is the main drug used to combat this killer and i have seen peoples notes stating that it is still worth the side effects. What are they?
