Last Thursday evening is when Dunes went to half a does of prednisone She had forty mg in the morning and 20 mg. in the evening. Since then, she is 20mg in morning and 20mg at night. Her PCV today was 36.7-so she is holding steady so far.

Joe, Wonderful news about Dunes!!! Isn't reducing the prednisone a big relief, I know it is for us and our Holly. We are on every other day for two more weeks and hopefully then will stop. Dunes, Keep up the great work! Linda

Hooray! Following Dune's story, which was similar to Maddie's at first, has been difficult at times. I'm so happy to read that the news is good! Keep it up! We all need the positive stories. :-)

Great to hear Joe and Dunes! It is wonderful news! Josh -- hang in there .... that pred will help Sways weigh swing back the other way. My Monster was down to 32 pounds, but five months now, and she weighs 55 pounds, all fat! She looks like a floating sausage but from where's she's come.

Hey guys, (Joe and Josh)...just looking back at Choe's numbers during the beginning of the year....1/13: 22.5; 1/29: 26.1; 2.20: 23.2; 3/15: 26.5. When we finally reduced the pred on 3/15. he finally climbed into the 30's (33) and then up to 36.2, and finally 38 on 5/17. So it may take a while for Dunes and Sway to become better 'stabilized.' Choe is still kind of bouncing around numbers wise and has actually hit 44, but came down again as low as 35 then back up to 38 but at least staying in the 30's. It is always a worry. Anyway it was Choe's birthday this week, He is seven. We all had pizza. He barked with joy and did his circle dance. I told him it was his birthday. Fabulous news to him if it encouraged me to bring in a pizza.
