Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Dec. 2009 Success Story up at Meisha's Hope

Just a quick note to mention the December, 2009 AIHA/IMHA Success Story is now up at the Meisha’s Hope AIHA/IMHA Web site. This story is about Mac whose owner/caregiver, Jane, posted on this forum quite regularly right after Mac was diagnosed. Jane still posts here from time to time. The following URL will take you directly to Mac’s Success Story:

I hope you laugh over the duck hunting story, related by John, Jane’s husband, as much as I did. It just shows how well Mac is doing.

I have also posted a photo of Mac wearing his Meisha’s Hope Bandanna on the Bandanna photo page at the Meisha’s Hope Web site. This URL will take you directly to that page:

Because of an ongoing medical issue with my mother-in-law and the high volume of AIHA/IMHA cases I am seeing off this forum I have not been posting much lately but I do check in every day to read the posts and see how all the dogs and their caregivers are doing. Be assured you are all in my daily thoughts and prayers. My canine gal, Maggie, AKA the Magpie and I send all of your canine kids BIG hugs.

Enjoy the December Success Story, may it and all the Success Stories at the Meisha's Hope Web site give you HOPE and encouragement.

Go Mac! What a dollface! I grew up with a Springer, they will always have a special place in my heart. Great story, he's a true water dog no doubt!

I have to add that Mac is adorable. My Oliver was a Springer Spaniel and looked just like Mac. Great success story!

Hi Joanne, I love these stories, I learn from each and every one of them.

I wish that we could get Riley's medication right so that he improves as well - everyone has such different ideas. Oh well.

Fantastic story about Mac.

All the best to you and your mother-in-law.
