Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Cushings?
| I have an appointment for Summer today. She seems to be displaying symptoms of Cushings Syndrome. I have been out of state for a month,and I got back last night. My son and husband have been taking good care of Summer. Anyway, when I got home I noticed, she had lost a lot of fur. I mean I lost of fur. Otherwise she seems normal. Her PCV is over 39,she got checked on Monday. She is being weaned off Azathioprine,which is the last med she is on for AIHA. Has anyone else here dealt with corticosteroid-induced Cushings? Is this what I am looking at possibly? What is the treatment? Any advice? Carrie and Summer |
