Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Croons Disease?

| Terese, we learn something new about AIHA every day! I think Crohn's disease is related as it is also an auto immune disease and treated with the same medications. But it attacks the GI tract and not the red blood cells. People with Crohn's disease are more at risk to develop auto immune hemolytic anemia. In both diseases the endocrine systems are also affected. It is all connected in a weird way. Best wishes Brigitte & Kahlu |
