Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Could someone tell me if my Rott Dakota has symtoms of AIHA?
| Almost a year ago Dakota started to look like she was going to have puppies. She had water in her stomach.They drained 5 gallons an 3 gallons 2 weeks later..Drinks alot of water.at a time an won*t eat much. She has real labored breathing also. |

Also be sure to follow the links at the bottom of the first page to many more sites on AIHA/IMHA. Have you taken Dakota to a vet, if so what does he/she say about these symptoms you are seeing? If you have not taken Dakota to a vet I would strongly urge you to do that ASAP. |

| This is the second time she has been sick like this. We took her to the Vet.an he thought she had congestive heart failure so he sent us to a specialist at OSU Small animal clinic the next day. They didnt know anything there except to run the same test. |

| They told us that she had whipworms an they ate a whole in the lining of her Liver. We knew that wasnt rite so we just had heq tummy drained 2 times an was goin to have it done a 3rd time but she came into heat an all of the water left her body... |

| I have been in contact with her Vet. an he is lookin into givin her so medication to make her go into heat so we can see if that works again. If it does then he thinks it could be her reproduction systen. All the test didnt pin point what is wrong. Thanx |
