sent a quick e-mail to Janet regarding the survey she began last summer. When she lost her pet she understandably was devastated and the survey was halted. Here is what she wrote, 'I am almost through with the data scrubbing. My promise, to you and everyone else, is that I will have it out by this weekend at the latest. I do apologize. I truly did not realize how much this was going to hurt but I am back "in the groove" and am working on it tonight'. Regards, Janet I think we will all lok forward to capturing info. especailly regarding the potential initiators for the onset of this condition. Jan

Janet..only the people who have lost their pets to this illness can understand your grief. The rest of us are still fighting, and all others may benefit in the future from what we may find as to a cause... Thanks for your help...Ron

Thanks everyone for your patience. Loosing Acadia was my second huge loss within a year and I still struggle with the grief from it all. But, as we all know, sometimes these struggles show us how strong we are. I sent all survey participants an email today (except for the 9 email addresses I don't have) asking for one little update. I will wait until Wednesday and update the information I receive and send out the results. And then we will decide where to go from there! Thanks again for understanding, Janet
