| I wanted to share this with you. Ren is pretty good about taking her medication. My Hubby gives it to her disguised in a small dot of peanut butter. However, the Aza and the Carafate must have terrible flavor. As Ren is feeling better and gaining strength, we find it more difficult to administer these medications. We have to restrain her and force her to take them. We have found a wonderful pharmacist that custom compounds medications. He made both Aza and Carafate in liquid suspension flavored with chicken. Ren now looks forward to "treat meds" time. She easily licks the medication from the syringe. I thought the special compounding would add to the cost but really, it is nominal. SUE |

| Sue, I am glad to hear Ren is gaining strength and feeling better. That is great that you have found a way to make giving the meds less stressful for all of you. Penny |
