This was posted in Heidi's thread and most certainly, needs it's own. Christina, I'm very sad to hear about your loss. Our thoughts are with you for Nicky. melissa and tiggs Christina, Chicago, IL So sorry to hear about your golden. I lost my labradoodle Nicky this morning - after promising blood tests and response to prednisone, she threw a clot in the middle of the night last night and her lungs gave out. I wish you much luck, and will keep you and your pup in my thoughts.

I think most people have responded in Christina's original thread. It is important that threads don't get too long because people may miss important news because they don't go back in to read a thread they believe they have already responded to. When there is a change in your dogs status or if you have new concerns or questions it would be best to start a new thread so more people will see it.

Christina - My heart goes out to you at this most difficult time... my Maxwell threw a clot as well and rest assured it was a quick and peaceful way to go... I am certain Maxwell welcomed Nicky at the bridge... Thinking of you and all others fighting this disease..
