Hey, Charlie! Sounds like you, Carol and your "doodle" are having a good time "living" life with thanksgiving.

Tori, our poodle is fighting IMHA and her report showed a drop in her PCV from 44 to 36 after 6 weeks of taking her Pred (2.5 mg) every 5 days. We'll recheck in 2 weeks and decide if we must go back to every 2/3 days.

Did Charlie have to increase his meds during his journey to where he is today?

Blessings,
Cindi & Tori

Carol and Charlie,
It is so important we hear these positive outcomes! Luck might be a big factor, but your good care for Charlie was also important for his recovery! Congratulations!

Best wishes,

Cindi, charlie was on pred and aza... If I remember correctly he was taken off of the aza first then the pred. My internal specialistb was aggressive
And reduced the pred over several months. I really trusted my vet and kept a veryu close eye on charlie.
It was no doubt scary when we we reduced, his pcv went down one time by a few points otherwise he just got better and better.
He was on deaths door with pcv of 12. I'm am so thankful for him.
Ella, so happy henri is doing well I remember his story!
