Hello all, Just a quick note on Cassies progress to date. She has now been off all medication for one week and she is looking so good, although we know it's still early days. Her last blood test had her PCV levels steady at 44 and we are taking her back next week to have her bloods done again to see if she is still doing well now she is off the meds. It still saddens us to read of all the new threads that appear from newly diagnosed little ones and our hearts go out to each and every one of you. We know what you are going through as does everyone else on this site and although it's hard to watch your babies suffering just have faith and fight like they do because with the right help this thing can be controlled. Good luck to all of you whether you be four legged or two (because we that love our pets need support too) and remember, there are lots of good wishes coming to you all from over the pond here in England. Take care Steve, Sue and a BIG woof from Cassie

Hi Sue and Steve. (indeed way across the pond. I love England). Studied over there many years ago but couldn't get a work permit or I would have stayed!! Just wondering the protocol you used to wean Cassie off the pred. Seems when I get below 2 mg day Choe drops back on his numbers. Jan

Yippee! Always nice to hear the positive reports. It is so important for people to keep posting so that the new cases can see that there can be hope no matter how dire it seems at the beginning. My best to you all. Penny
