Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Calypso...1 year survivor!

Hello everyone. I have not been around much, life has not been great the past 6 months. But on a happy note, Calypso is now a ONE YEAR SURVIVOR!

She was diagnosed with IMHA 6/11/2009. She has been medication free since December 2009. She had her third checkup since going off her meds and all is good! Calypso's liver levels are normal again and everything NORMAL as well. Her HCT was 39, with a good retic count!

We feel blessed that she survived this especially knowing all the heartache IMHA causes.

Good vibes to all out there dealing with IMHA!

Thanks to all that offered great information on this site!
