Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Calypso a young dog with IMHA update

Hello everyone. It has been awhile since I have checked in due to a family crisis, but I have finally caught up on all the posts. So I thought I would give and update on Calypso...she is doing GREAT!!
We started this roller coaster ride in June and could not be more pleased with her progress. Because of how quickly she has improved, they our now thinking it is more likely due to a reaction to her sulfa meds, but regardless we will continue take all the normal IMHA precautions.
Her prednisone came off in Oct and we have successfully weaned her Cyclosporin. Her Hct has been in the mid 40s for several months and since starting her Denamarin her liver values have been normal. We just started her 2nd cyclosporin wean so we will check her blood in another month.
Calypso is now acting like a puppy again, even more hyper than we first adopted her, but we are just happy that she is finally better. But after eating my table, floor and molding we have started obedience training with her; LOL!

Best wishes to all of you!!
