Nothing has changed--no ne meds, no new foods, no change in med dosage. he can't afford to lose any more weight !!!! I'll keep you all updated. Please offer suggestions. lisa :( |

| Hi Lisa, I so understand about the vomiting, I did the same thing over the weekend and still feel like I've been run over by a steam roller. Bleah. When Lindy vomits, I do one of these two things..I give her cottage cheese with a little bit of baby food chicken..the strained kind..no chunks..Just small amounts to start with. I might add another spoonful to her next meal if she keeps that down. Just go about it in small amounts and slowly. For example, Lindy weights in at 20# so I give her about three teaspoons or cottage cheese and a teaspoon or less of baby food chicken. Stir it in well and hopefully that will help. Boiled rice is another good one, though I try to keep some broth in it and so it is rather like a soup and add a bit of baby food chicken to that. Also, when Lindy is on all of her meds, her stomach does better if I feed her 4 small meals a day rather than two. Just a thought, but do wait before you start adding meals to make sure she is keeping the food down. Hope this helps. Nancy and Lindy |

| Hi, Lisa & Bugy, I've heard that canned pumpkin can settle their stomachs, I haven't tried it yet, I normally do steamed rice and chicken broth like Nancy but its a thought. Good luck. |
