Well just like I thought. For every piece of good news there must be bad. Bugy was admitted again last night. They did an Ultra Sound and have discovered that Bugy now has a bladder infection. They started him on Baytril and if he can keep down his food (that is if he doesn't decide to stop eating again)he may be able to come home Saturday. My poor baby has had just about every side effect possiable. I just wonder whats next. Lisa :(

Lisa, I know how you feel. Sometimes it just feels like one thing ends and a new problem pops up. Good though that they have caught the bladder infection and Bugy is being treated for that. I hope you can have him back at home on Saturday and that he will find his apetite again. I'll be thinking of you over the weekend. Please keep us posted. deb and Duck

Hi Lisa, This disease is very frustrating, but then there is a turn around and things get better, hopefully. Lindy marched along while she was on all of the usual meds with no infections, muscle wasting,or loss of appetite. She had the usual pred induced: eats everything she can, when she can. Anyway, a few months after going off of the pred, she developed this infection in her foot. There went another $1200-$1500 out the door. I was so happy she was off of the Cyclosporine and Prednisone, with just the Azathioprine left, I felt we had won at least part of the battle. Realistically, it is an ongoing, uphill road, but having Lindy still here has made it worth it. Hugs to sweet Bugy. Nancy and Lindy
