| Hi All, Just a quick update about my Bugy. As I stated last week I took Bugy home on Sunday. I do't think the Vet was happy but I did what I thought was best. Thank goodness Bugy has had a good week. We have lowered his pred to 5mg in the am and pm,and 5mg prilosec. He is still taking the baytril for his latest bladder/uti infection. We have stopped all other meds-no aspirin, cyclosporine or marin. This seems to be working. He has more energy. He even thinks he can jump off the couch and bed---we highly suggest he doesn't but sometimes he is to quick. He is very spoiled and insists on eating boiled chicken. I also have been giiving him some green beans and sometimes carrots. His urine is clear and no signs of blood. Every once and a while he will eat some kibbles of w/d but I don't think enough to fill him so I guess I'll be cooking more chicken...not that I mind. It looks like he is gaining some of his weight back but still is a little skeliton looking around the hind area. He is standing and walking much better. Not much failling over only when he turns to quickly--most times when he is tring to chase the cat ! I am so looking forward to the day when my post can read BUGY IS 100% WELL. I hate this diease and the toll it has taken on my poor Bugy. I think he's a fighter and we continue to help him fight. My best wishes to everyone who is going thru this. Keep positive. Lisa :) |

| Lisa, That is such good news. It is so hard to decide sometimes if we are doing right by our animals until you see positive results. Bugy is truly a fighter and I hope to read your post that does say he is indeed 100% recovered. One day at a time. Penny |
