Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - BillyBob 21.01.06 - 09.03.09

I just wanted to let you all know that I have just taken BillyBob to the Bridge.

Billy was a very brave boy who has fought hard for 10 months, but again this b*st**d disease has taken another innocent sole.

Thank you all for your support, advice and prayers - I don't know what I would have done without you all.

Love, hugs and prayers to everyone and their furbabies.

Steph

Dear Steph
Please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of BillyBob. He put up a good fight but sometimes
there is just nothing we can humanly do to save them. Feel comfort in knowing you did everything and more you could for him and he is in a better place now. BillyBob will be with you always in a special place in your heart.

With Sadness,
Cheryl & Ginger

Dear Steph,

I am so very saddened to hear of the death of your most beloved BillyBob. Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss.

When you feel up to it, I hope you will visit the Loss & Grief page at the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Web site

http://www.cloudnet.com/~jdickson/loss.htm

this page was written with input from those who have lost their dogs to AIHA/IMHA and contains many resources that will be very helpful to you.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during these most very difficult days.

Steph,
I am so sorry that you had to let Billie Bob go. You both tried so hard but because you are such a good Mom you knew that he was ready to go to the bridge to be restored to good health and to wait for your loving arms to hold him again when it is time. I hope the happier memories that you had with Billie will eventually help you get through the awful pain of these last 10 months.
Sharing in your sorrow.

Steph,

I'm so sorry, sad, sad tears for Billy Bob. It's so unfair, this terrible disease. I know that you did everything you cold for him, and he knows that he was loved and cherished until the end. I know now he is in peace, free to run and play without stupid drugs, pain, needles, and vet visits.

All our love,
melissa and tiggs

Dear Stef,
I am so sorry to hear about billybob, so very sorry.
It hasnt been very long since I too had to help Kent to the Bridge, and not a day goes by that i dont think of him. I know you did everything you could for him, and he knows that too. You did the best and hardest thing anyone can do for their furchild, and that is help him avoid more pain and suffering and release him from this horrible disease. He was courageous, and he needed you to be too, and you were. Please try to take care of yourself and know that you did your best.
Blessings,
Christine and Angel Kent

Steph, I'm so sorry to hear it - our pups were the same age - so tragic to lose our furry kids so young. My heart aches for our pets, taken from us before their time.
