Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Beautiful day for a race

It is a beautiful morning in Lime Rock, CT and a perfect day to begin our Race for Hope. We are expecting a good turnout as the sun is shinning and the air is crisp and cool. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you that are currently fighting this disease and we will race to win.

Regards,
Steve
p.s. The Meisha's Hope BMW Z4 M Coupe is almost completely covered with sponsored paw prints! Awesome start for our awareness campaign.

As Steve mentioned in this post the Race for HOPE car is covered with paws and bones. Steve has been sending me photos of the car on a regular basis. I posted the last photo I received at Shutterfly.com and am posting the URL here so that anyone who wants to can see what the car currently looks like.

Steve,

I still can't thank you enough for all you're doing. And my Boogie thanks you too. She's having a tough weekend, but hanging in there. Good luck in the race. We are all so proud to have our paw prints on your amazing car.

And thank you also to Joanne for the link to the picture. The car looks awesome.

Steve -- wishing you and your team all the best today. The car looks awesome, and all by itself, just sitting there on the pavement, it is inspirational. Take care.

Just a clarification, today is NOT the actual auto race. Today is the 5K run and Mutt Strut to raise funds for the Meisha's Hope AIHA/IMHA Fund #338 at Morris Animal Foundation:

http://www.morrisanimalfoundation.org/meisha

The 5K started at 11 AM and the MUTT Strut starts at Noon eastern time.

The auto race is tomorrow (Memorial day) starting at 9:45 AM eastern time.
