Canine Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia (AIHA & IMHA) - Barber Race on SPEED-TV this Saturday

If you get the chance to watch a little TV this weekend, turn on SPEED Channel this Saturday to see last weeks race at Barber Motorsports Park. There is going to be some good footage of the Meisha's Hope BMW racing. The program is scheduled for 2pm eastern.

Steve
p.s. It has been know to happen that when dogs see and hear the car run they break into howls. Be sure to have your ear plugs ready.

Dolores,

Speed TV is carried by most cable, dish or satelite providers. Check your local listings or your provider to see if you receive speed TV. I am on Charter cable and get it and since you live not too far away maybe you are on charter cable as well.

SPEED is a cable or satelite channel.

Joanne I guess I'm out of luck! I have Time Warner cable and see no listing for speed, I thought it might be on a sports channel but no. Dolores

Steve,

That was such an exciting race! And great pictures of your "Meisha's Hope" car. I was watching the race with a friend and I told her No. 18 was owned by one of Boogie's friends. (Hope you don't mind my calling you that.) I didn't think anything of it until I caught a strange look on my friend's face.

Please let us know when we can catch the next race.

Hi Steve
I had the opportunity to watch some of the race on Saturday and when I saw for the first time the BMW with all the bones and paw prints coming off of a curve it was a pawsome sight, I had tears in my eyes. I am so proud and amazed that someone one would donate their time and attention to a disease that has been virtually unheard of (unless your dog or a friends dog has had it) up to this point.

Congratulations on a race well run and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done to bring awareness and financial support to help find a better treatment for this often deadly disease.

My husband and I are planning to go support you and your team at the Thunderbolt Raceway in NJ on 8.31.08. We were wondering if the Porsche will be running in that race and also do you sell photos of the race cars with the bones and paw prints on them as it is very difficult to describe to friends and family how good that car acturally looks.

Thank you again,
Cheryl and Ginger

Really enjoyed seeing Megan in action. I booked our trip to SLC for September's race today. Looking forward to meeting you.

Cheryl,

You can contact our webmaster Wes and he will be able to provide you with any pictures that you wish to have. You should be able to contact him directly from our site.

Penny,

See you at SLC! We will have the #18 & #21 cars with us there to race.

Regards,

This idea is really great. I had no idea since I hadn't been on the list.

Hi Steve
I was just wondering if you ever got my check for a bone and a T-shirt?

Will both cars be racing in NJ on 8/31?

Thanks

Cheryl,
You should receive your shirt any day now. I saw that Beth sent it out just recently. We had been running a little behind on shipments because of the busy schedule. I hope you enjoy it.

Currently we only have the #18 entered for the race as we are looking for a sponsor for that event. We will though have it there on display with hopefully coming up with a sponsor. The #21 does have sponsorship for SLC and VIR.

If you want to you can email me privately about what a sponsorship entails, please let me know the costs and what it involves and can it be a cosponsor?
I have a few dog loving business connections in this area.

Looking forward to getting my shirt!!!
