I have a friend whose 7 year old Boxer was diagnosed with an auto immune skin disease - don't know the name specifically. I wondered if anyone here knows of a good forum they could join for info or if anyone has any info that I could pass along. Thanks Chris

Chris, can you find the name of it, I can ask my brother for info. Their golden has been battling an autoimmune skin disorder for over a year, this disease is rare and much more deadly than AIHA/IMHA. At first they thought he had hives, then bee bites and finally sought a specialist who diagnosed it properly. Laurie

Laurie, Not sure if this is the same thing or not. I just copied and pasted his message below: "Maddie had a biobsy taken from her neck and in that they found acantholytic epithelial cells. Which is consistent with a condition called pemphigus foliaceus. According to the lab report. My vet tells me that this sounds like a auto immune problem." I'm sure he would appreciate any insight anyone could give. Thanks Chris
